We’ve had the chance to design projects in Qatar, Colorado, Utah, Hawaii and all throughout California. We’ve gone from a firm started at a kitchen table to working with some of the world’s most influential brands like Microsoft, Starbucks, HP, Snapchat and Tadashi Shoji.
The work has taken every conceivable shape – from custom residences in Beverly Hills, Montecito and Newport Beach to signature projects like Platform in Culver City, Historic Museums and workplace for the next generation. Diverse projects have led to a diverse set of experiences from which we’ve learned a ton. Understanding the parameters of each project type has given us the ability to anticipate challenges and be ready for what’s next.

COO – Director of Architectural Lighting Design
Vince has over 18 year’s experience in the electrical and lighting Design Industry both domestic and abroad. With a background in Fine Art and Electrical Construction, he brings a unique approach that is practical, purposeful and artistic. Vince is a professional member of the IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers), IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) and a past member of the Community Advisory Council to Lightfair.
Prior to founding LFA Lighting Design (now Brighter LD) Vince worked as a Senior Designer within an internationally recognized architectural lighting design firm, project manager for a commercial electrical contractor and specifications sales representative. Vince’s knowledge of design, electrical construction and commerce combined with an artist’s awareness of light and space has proven to be invaluable.
Vince Tarango is a native to the central coast of California and a graduate of UCSB with a degree in Fine Arts.
Lighting Designer
The newest member of our team, Cory brings both his background of music and psychology into his design practice. Cory has the ability to strike a balance between form, function and design cadence into his projects. Cory is also a recent graduate of the PMI project management training program.
